Description
In the second part of our editing series, you’ll learn how to create more complex page layouts using images, text and links to other pages displayed as grids or separate boxes of information vertically down your page. You’ll also add sliding content and galleries to your pages.
You’ll also learn how to activate and manage simple applications you can use for news and displaying your events.
This session forms part of our Digital Foundations programme, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
This session will cover
You will learn how to:
*create page layouts (refresher)
* add and edit custom content boxes
*add content blocks as a carousel, grid or accordion
*apply useful applications e.g. noticeboard, calendar
*Get started with grids and lists (Item list)
Pre-course requirement
Please attend using a laptop or other desktop device. If you are unsure about adding and editing pages using the content management system please attend our beginners session.
Am I eligible for this course?
You must be an editor of an existing Voice website. This course is for administrators of websites that are built using the Voice community website platform only. It is not suitable for organisations without an existing website, or a website built with any other platform.

Online technical group training
This is an online interactive live training session. You'll take part in interactive exercises such as breakout room discussions, polls or chat conversations.
You will be asked to complete individual technical tasks on your PC or laptop. You will not be able to join this training using a mobile device. It's likely that you will need to either create online accounts or download appropriate software, which we'll tell you about in advance.
