Description
Join us for an advanced Power BI session focused on interactive design and smart data transformation.
We’ll explore how to guide users through your reports using buttons, bookmarks and page navigation, build shaded area maps to highlight regional patterns, and create drill-through and tooltip pages for deeper insights. You’ll also sharpen your Power Query skills — learning how to clean, shape and refine your data to build dashboards that are both powerful and easy to use.
This session will cover
* Buttons, page navigation & bookmarks
* Area shaded maps
* Drill through, tool tip pages & slicers
* Power Query - adding custom columns, removing duplicates & managing multi-select columns
Pre-course requirement
To participate in this course, you will need to have both the web and desktop version of Power BI installed. The free versions which come with Microsoft 365 as standard are suitable for everything apart from the publication section which requires a paid Power BI pro licence. Everything is available via the Microsoft store and they offer a free trial for the paid version so you can give it a whirl before taking the plunge. We will send step by step details of how to access Power BI in advance of the course.
