Description

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly common in charities, but what does this mean for trustees? Join us for a practical one-hour online lunch and learn session during Small Charity Week 2026, designed specifically for trustees of small charities in London.

We'll explore what trustees need to think about when AI is used in their organisation, including governance, risk, accountability, data protection, transparency, and keeping the "human in the lead". We'll introduce a simple AI Policy and Guidance Template based on core principles which you can adapt for your own organisation.

The session will include practical steps to help you get started, opportunities to discuss real-life scenarios and time to network with other local charities about their experiences. Whether you're completely new to AI or have already experimented with tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT but aren't sure what your trustee responsibilities are, this session will help you take the next step with confidence.

You'll receive a copy of the AI policy or guidance template to adapt for your organisation.

**This event is part subsidised by Kingston Voluntary Action for Kingston groups. If your organisation is based in or delivering services directly in Kingston upon Thames, please choose the appropriate ticket type**.
