Description
Join us this London Data Week 2025 for one of two launch events of the London Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector Dashboard, a community-owned data platform designed to enhance the accessibility and visualisation of data about the social impact sector in London.
The London VCSE Sector Dashboard is a result of a collaborative effort led by Superhighways, as part of the Datawise London programme, funded by the City Bridge Foundation’s Cornerstone fund. This innovative tool aims to bring together existing public datasets with VCSE-owned data to create a comprehensive, interactive, and useful data platform.
Why was the Dashboard created?
Currently, data about the sector in London is scattered across multiple siloed directories and databases, making it difficult to access and collate. This fragmentation leads to duplication of effort and challenges in answering critical questions such as:
*How many organisations operate in London?
*What services do they provide?
*Where are they based?
*Who do they help?
*How can we support and collaborate with them?
This session will cover
You’ll hear and introduction to the Dashboard and discover:
*How to use its features and functionalities
*Insights on how the dashboard can support your work
*How voice and experience has shaped its development.
You'll have the chance to explore the dashboard, suggest areas for development and ask questions about the data.
Is this course for me?
Who Should Attend:
